Lohri Celebration 2023

Lohri, the harvest festival was celebrated in the school with the great enthusiasm, zest ,magnificence and exuberance under the guidance of President Mr. Ashok Jain , Secretary Prof. Gurdev Sahai and Principal Ms.Ritu Pathak. The event commenced with the lighting of bonfire.The Principal, faculty members and students added rewri and groundnuts to the bonfire and prayed for the well being of everyone. All were absorbed in festive spirit.Teachers came dressed in traditional attire .Peanuts, rewri and popcorns were distributed to all.Songs like 'Dulha Bhatti' and 'Sundar Munderiye' filled everyone with thrill. Teachers explained the children about the festival of Lohri and enriched their knowledge.All the children and teachers enthusiastically participated in Lohri celebrations.They had a gala time as they danced around the bonfire. Principal Ms.Ritu Pathak extended her heartiest felicitations on the ocassion and encouraged the students to value their culture. Overall it was a fun-filled day.
