Children Day was celebrated exuberantly in St.Manu's Convent School under the guidance of our worthy President Ms.Ashok Jain,Secretary Prof.Gurdev Sahai,Principal Ms.Ritu Pathak,Administrator Mr.Pardeep Kumar , Vice -Principal Ms.Harbinder Kaur and Activity Coordinators Ms.Karamjeet Kaur and Ms.Ramandeep Kaur.
This day is dedicated to children to commemorate the work and love put in by our first Prime Minister Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru who was fondly called “Chacha Nehru” or “Chachaji” by children as he had a special connection with them and was always affectionate in their company .
To make the children feel special on their day a special assembly was organised by Teachers. The event began with morning prayer followed by Thought of the day,news ,speech ,song ,Quiz, Rhymes ,Dance and National Anthem.Teachers left the audience spell bound with their amazing performances.Students of Pre-Primary and primary wing enjoyed a lot by watching movie Simba -The lion King and playing various types of games organised for them on the ocassion. Refreshment was also served to all the kids to make the day memorable. It was really a galla full of activities.Principal Ms.Ritu Pathak shared her views on the ocassion and wished all the students Happy Children Day.
